Our interventional pain management program is designed to restore function, relieve suffering, and help patients regain their quality of life through advanced, evidence-based treatments.
We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a minimum of one year of clinical experience to join our collaborative care team.
Job Responsibilities
-Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in close collaboration with the supervising physician.
-Diagnostics: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including MRI, CT scans, X-rays, and laboratory work.
-Clinical Procedures: Perform or assist with interventional procedures such as joint injections (including knee, shoulder, and hip), trigger point injections, and nerve blocks.
-Regulatory Compliance: Monitor medication usage, including controlled substances, ensuring strict adherence to Florida state regulations and DEA guidelines.
-Patient Advocacy: Provide thorough education on treatment options, risk mitigation for medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
-Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed records within the EMR system to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications
Certification: National board certification (PA-C, FNP, AGNP, or similar).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Pain Management, Orthopedics, Neurology, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
Procedural Proficiency: Demonstrated experience performing joint injections is highly preferred.
Credentials: Valid DEA registration with authority to prescribe controlled substances.
Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication, clinical judgment, and a high level of detail-orientation regarding medical documentation.
