Join TMC’s Integrative Pain Center—an established, team-based program delivering individualized, multimodal care for acute and chronic pain. You’ll collaborate closely with interventional pain physicians and APPs to improve function and quality of life for a complex, motivated patient population.

Compensation: $140,000 base (DOE) + $20,000 sign-on + $10,000 relocation

Schedule: 4x10s or 5x8s, outpatient only, no call (daytime clinic)

Team: Collegial physicians and APPs performing a full range of interventional procedures (e.g., epidurals, RF ablations, joint injections) with strong clinic support
Job Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive histories/physicals; order/interpret diagnostics; create and adjust care plans
• Manage chronic pain using a multimodal approach (medication management, interventional referrals, PT, CBT)
• Collaborate across disciplines; coordinate consults/referrals
• Educate patients/caregivers; document thoroughly in the EMR
• Maintain regulatory/quality standards and contribute to protocols and improvement initiatives
Qualifications
• Master’s in Nursing (or equivalent) with national NP certification
• Active (or eligible) Arizona RN & NP licenses with prescriptive authority and DEA
• 5+ years related experience preferred (acute care experience valuable); pain or addiction medicine experience strongly preferred
• Comfort with team‑based care, evidence‑based prescribing, and longitudinal management

• Skill in identifying abnormal findings and making sound, timely clinical decisions
• Competence in managing chronic and complex pain patients using evidence‑based approaches
2. Multimodal Pain Management Skills
• Experience or comfort with pain medicine and/or addiction medicine
• Ability to manage patients through a multimodal plan (meds, therapy referrals, interventional procedures, behavioral health coordination)
3. Medication Management & Prescribing
• Safe, compliant prescribing of controlled substances
• Understanding of risk mitigation, monitoring, and follow‑up in chronic pain populations
4. Collaboration & Team Communication
• Strong ability to coordinate with physicians, APPs, nurses, MAs, and support staff
• Clear communication across a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to act as a liaison in a fast‑moving clinic environment
5. EMR & Documentation Excellence
• Accurate, timely documentation
• Ability to interpret diagnostics, track patient progress, and modify care plans
• Comfortable with EMR use and basic computer applications
6. Patient Education & Relationship-Building
• Ability to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, and expectations
• Compassion for patients struggling with chronic pain
• Skill in de‑escalating emotional or challenging situations
7. Regulatory, Safety, & Compliance Awareness
• Understanding of controlled substance rules, DEA responsibilities, and TMC policies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to TMC safety standards
