Job description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a progressive outpatient clinic focused on improving patients' health and quality of life. The provider will manage patients across multiple service lines, including Pain Management, Psychiatry, Sleep Medicine, Orthotics, and Urgent Care. Cross-training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement patient-centered pain management plans using pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches.
Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Perform minor outpatient procedures and evaluate pre- and post-operative patients.
Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
Support trauma-informed care and crisis intervention when necessary.
Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications
DEA License in NM (Required)
Strong knowledge of pain management, psychiatric, and sleep medicine protocols.
Experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
