Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner interested in Addiction and Pain Management to join their team.

NO STATE INCOME TAX! Abundance of recreational and outdoors activities. Come join two M.D.s, a PA, and 8 other nurse practitioners covering seven outpatient clinics. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right individual. Looking for superior interpersonal, excellent computer and excellent organizational skills. Must have a patient-first mentality.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with chronic pain and addiction issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, counseling, and referral to other healthcare services as necessary.
- Provide follow-up care and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about pain management and addiction recovery.
- Educating patients on the nature of addiction and chronic pain, including their physical, psychological, and emotional aspects.
- Safe use of prescribed medications, particularly opioids and other pain relievers, to avoid dependency and misuse.
- Collaborate with external healthcare providers for referrals and continuity of care.

Documentation and Compliance:

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal, ethical, and institutional guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to pain management and controlled substances.
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in addiction medicine and pain management.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in WY or ability to get licensed.
- Board Certified

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Working Hours

Schedule: Most of their offices are four 10s with one office being 5 days/week
7:30 to 6:30 on four 10s with an hour lunch break.
Seeing patients up to 5:20 with the remainder of the time to finish charting and notes.
