An outpatient clinic in Angels Camp, CA is seeking a Pain Management APP to provide part-time coverage starting in October! The site is a 90 minute drive from Sacramento and surrounded by mountains, lakes, and rivers.

Details:
  • 4 days/wk every other week OR 2 days/wk every week
  • The schedule is 1 week on, 1 week off for 3 months with the option to extend.
  • Monday - Thursday (7a-5:30p with 30 min lunch) starting in October.
  • Assignment: work under the direction of the pain management physician.
  • Setting: Outpatient clinic. Low MME clinic.
  • Duties: see pain management patients. NP/PA is not expected to escalate opiate doses. This is typically only done by the physician.
  • Required Procedures: None. Procedures are optional. The physician is willing to teach if NP/PA is interested.
  • Support Staff: Medical Assistant, Front Office, and working under the direction of our Paint Management Physician.
  • EMR: Cerner PCA
  • Reason for Coverage: Growing pain management practice. In the process of recruiting for a part-time PA but need coverage in the interim.
  • Clinic visits, 14-17 patients per day
  • Clinic willing to adapt around NP/PA's skill set
  • First day info - Training on EHR and training with Pain Management physician.
