🧪 Key Responsibilities

Gross examination of biopsies and complex surgical specimens

Perform and stain frozen sections

Proper allocation of medical renal and muscle biopsies

Work closely with histology and grossing teams to ensure workflow efficiency
📊 Case Volume

Approximately 75–125 cases per day
-
Roughly 250–300 blocks daily

Case mix includes surgical excisions and biopsies
-
No rounding required
👥 Support & Systems

Dedicated Grossing Technician & Histology Technicians

EMR systems in place to support efficient documentation and workflow
✅ Requirements

Certified Pathologist Assistant (PA-ASCP) – Required

Board Certification – Required

Must be comfortable with frozen sections and complex resections

Availability for the full assignment timeframe is strongly preferred
