Assignment Details:
-
13-week locum tenens assignment starting 09/01/2025
-
3 shifts/week (Mon-Fri) 6 PM – 7:30 AM + 1 weekend/month
Practice Setting:
Hospital-based, working on the Cardiothoracic Surgery Stepdown unit managing pre- and post-operative care.
Responsibilities:
-
Manage chest tube removal, arterial line removal, arterial blood gases (ABG), and epicardial pacing wire removal

Consent for procedures (no ICU coverage beyond that)
Requirements:
-
Active New York NP license
-
Minimum 2 years Cardiothoracic Surgery NP experience (pre/post-op)
-
COVID & Flu vaccinations required
-
Epic EMR experience preferred
