Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday; Operating Room on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; clinic on Wednesday; administrative duties on Friday; hours 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Morning rounding with occasional weekend coverage required
Clinic days support 20-25 patients with one clinical support staff member
Patient population includes orthopedic patients, primarily teenagers and adults with no age restriction
First assist in the OR for total joint replacements, fracture repairs, foot/ankle, shoulder, knee, hip, hand/wrist, and general orthopedic procedures
Skills required include OR assist, clinic experience, casting/splinting/DME application, and joint injections
EMR system: EPIC Excellian
Minnesota PA or NP license required; DEA and CSR required
BLS certification required; Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) or equivalent PA certification within specialty required upon hire
Minimum 1 year of experience required with at least 1 year of OR experience; prior orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred
