Seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join a busy orthopedic practice on Long Island. HPM provides management services to more than 50 medical practices specializing in Orthopedics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, offering providers strong operational support and opportunities for growth.

π Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner will work alongside a dedicated team of physicians delivering high-quality orthopedic care. The role includes comprehensive patient evaluations, pain management, prescribing medications, assisting with procedures, and promoting optimal patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
π©Ί Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessments

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients experiencing pain

Review medical history, perform physical exams, and interpret diagnostic results

Assess intensity, duration, and functional impact of pain
Collaborative Care

Partner with physicians to establish diagnoses

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Interventional Support

Assist with interventional procedures as needed
Patient Education & Counseling

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care

Promote lifestyle modifications and stress-reduction strategies

Counsel patients on adherence to prescribed therapies
Regulatory Compliance

Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory standards
π Education & Training

Valid New York State Nurse Practitioner license (required)

Minimum 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience (preferred)

New graduates with a strong interest in orthopedics will be considered
