A locum Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is needed to support orthopedic surgery services, including OR assist, inpatient coverage, and evening call. This assignment provides a block of shifts in November and December with limited call responsibilities.
A locum Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is needed to support orthopedic surgery services, including OR assist, inpatient coverage, and evening call. This assignment provides a block of shifts in November and December with limited call responsibilities.
Weekly gross pay is estimated at $7,000 – $8,400, ranking this role in the Top 10–15% of market compensation for Orthopedic Surgery APP locums.
Assignment Highlights
- Schedule: Mix of OR assist, inpatient, and evening call shifts
- Shifts: 11-hour days (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM) plus occasional 13-hour night call
- Specific priority dates needed
- Additional dates may be added
- EMR: Epic
- Location: Boise, ID | Acute Care Hospital
- Top 15% market pay for APP Orthopedic Surgery locums
- Prepaid travel & lodging provided
- Malpractice insurance covered by HPA Healthcare
- HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency
Skills & Experience
- Active Idaho PA or NP license (Compact license acceptable for NP)
- Orthopedic surgery and inpatient experience strongly preferred
- OR assist capability required
- Comfortable with Epic EMR documentation
- Ability to take limited evening/night call
