Job description
Health Care System seeks to add a full-time Nurse Practitioner to their team. The position is all clinic based. The Nurse Practitioner will support a Board Certified, Foot and Ankle Surgeon in the clinic. Once trained the Nurse Practitioner will run their own clinic consisting of new and follow-up patients that have both acute and chronic foot and ankle injuries. This doctor will train a recent graduate, Nurse Practitioner!
Responsibilities include: H&P’s, order and interpreting diagnostic tests (X-ray, MRI, etc.) and providing diagnoses and treatment plan. Also there will be in office procedures (injections, wound care, fracture care, removing hardware etc.) The position is Monday to Friday (day) and a total of 40 hour per week with no call, weekends or evenings.
The location is in the beautiful Palm Springs area. This area is a MECCA for golf and tennis. There is a great all year-round outdoor living along with a very reasonable cost of living for the state of California. Excellent compensation and benefits. Compensation includes optional overtime paid at time and a half. Additionally, there is an excellent benefit package.
