Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Oncology
Join a leading Free-Standing Cancer Center in Greenville, South Carolina, dedicated to providing exceptional care in oncology. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner for locum coverage in Medical Oncology, offering support to a thriving practice with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. This center features a collaborative environment with a team of eight physicians and four advanced practice providers. Coverage is needed from now until the end of September, with designated call schedules and an efficient documentation system using EPIC.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage Bone Marrow Transplants and Blood Bank procedures.
- Order tests and images as necessary.
- Prescribe medications and administer chemotherapy.
- Provide first call support for patient and hospital phone inquiries.
- Perform on-site inpatient rounding during scheduled shifts on weekends.
- Support an average of 15 outpatient and 20 hospital patients daily.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology.
- Active South Carolina license (or willingness to obtain).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current DEA certification.
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
License and Certification Requirements:
