This permanent Oncology NP position offers a physician-led environment, strong interdisciplinary support, and access to cutting-edge cancer treatments including infusion therapy, radiation oncology collaboration, genetic testing, tumor boards, surgical oncology (including robotics), and clinical trials.
Be part of a mission-driven oncology team focused on compassionate cancer care, patient education, and family-centered treatment planning.
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct evaluations, follow-ups, and treatment management
• Collaborate with Medical Oncologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in tumor boards and care coordination meetings
• Manage chemotherapy-related side effects and symptom control
• Support infusion services and treatment planning
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and treatment plans
• Coordinate care across multiple clinic locations as needed
• Maintain detailed EMR documentation
Qualifications
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner – Required
• Minimum 3–5 years Oncology NP experience (NP experience only) – Required
• Active Iowa and Illinois licenses (or willing to obtain) – Required
• DEA & CSR/CDS (or able to obtain prior to start) – Required
• Clean malpractice history – Preferred
• Current NPDB Self-Query Report – Required
Working Hours
• Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• No Call
• Outpatient Clinic Setting
