ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking an Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide outpatient care. This role focuses on medical oncology patient management, treatment planning, and coordination of care across regional systems. Coverage is needed due to the discontinuation of an external outreach oncology program.

Dates / Schedule

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Coverage Requirement: Minimum of 3 days per week

  • Preferred blocks: Monday–Wednesday or Tuesday–Thursday

• Setting: Outpatient medical oncology clinic

• Patients per Day: Approximately 8–10

• Duration: Approximately 90 days (billing enrollment coverage)

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient medical oncology care in a cancer center setting

• Complete cancer staging workups

• Formulate and initiate chemotherapy and immunotherapy plans

• Collaborate with:

  • On-site Radiation Oncology

  • Off-site Surgical Oncology

  • Other NPs and PAs

• Oversee clinical aspects of treatment delivery and infusion services

• Coordinate oncology care across regional systems

• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred but not required

• EMR systems: Mosaiq and Meditech

• Strong multidisciplinary support including:

  • 2 clinic RNs, 4 infusion RNs, RN navigator

  • Radiation oncology team, dietitian, prior authorization specialists

  • Patient advocate, financial assistance coordinator, tumor registry, scalp cooling program

• Case mix includes a broad range of solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, metastatic disease, and non-malignant hematology

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible APP (Required)

• North Dakota License or IMLC (Highly preferred; must be willing to obtain ND license if not licensed)

• BLS Certification (Required)

• Active DEA (Required)

• Experience in medical oncology or hematology/oncology strongly preferred

• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred

• Ability to manage diverse oncology case types independently with multidisciplinary support

• Clean malpractice history (Highly preferred)
