NP/PA - Oncology Coos Bay, OR

Position Highlights

• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week (no nights or weekends)

• Setting: Primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient consults

• Paid call shared equitably among providers

• Affiliation: Member of an academic cancer network, offering access to clinical trials and advanced therapies

• Team: Work alongside oncologists, APPs, nurse navigators, pharmacists, radiation oncologists, and a highly skilled infusion nursing team

• Facility:

  • 19-chair infusion room

  • Onsite pharmacy, lab, radiation oncology, and support services

  • Modern technology and robust clinical resources

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oncology care and patient management in outpatient and consultative inpatient settings

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, compassionate care

• Perform evaluations, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and manage treatment plans

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a team-oriented environment

• Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Board Certified NP or PA – Required

• AONCP Certification (or in process) – Required for NP candidates

• Oncology subspecialty training or experience – Preferred for PA candidates

• Active Oregon license (or willingness to obtain) – Required

• Clean malpractice history/background – Required

• Copy of NPDB self-query report – Required

• Experience in Oncology (inpatient and/or outpatient) – Preferred
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Average Salary: $135,626.50 annually (based on full-time, experienced APP)
