Job Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner - Oncology in Davenport, IA

The Genesis Cancer Care Institute, accredited by the NAPBC, NQMBC, CoC, and ACOS, is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team in the Quad Cities area of Iowa. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care primarily at the Davenport location with potential coverage at the Clinton and Silvis clinics.
• Deliver team-based collaborative care and treatment focused on patient and family-centered practices.
• Collaborate with a team of 4 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners, as well as clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Utilize innovative treatments and resources, including radiation oncology, infusion, genetic testing, and clinical trials.
• Work in a supportive community-based environment with access to hospitalist teams for inpatient services.
• Engage in patient and family education and support programs.

Qualifications:

• Master’s and/or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum 3-5 years Oncology NP work experience (not including RN experience).
• IA and IL nursing licenses (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA Verbal Confirmation and CSR/CDS (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Essential documentation, including recent NPDB reports and self-query.

License and Certification Requirements:

• IA and IL nursing licenses (required).
• Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners (required).
• DEA and CSR/CDS (required).
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
