Campus is looking for 1 APP locum for maternity leave coverage starting July 29th for 18 weeks in the SurgOnc/ Breast Care Department.
Description of Work: Seeing patients in a clinic for patients at high risk of developing breast cancer (strong family history, personal history, genetic mutations). Possible NPV’s and follow-up patient care.
Anticipated Procedures/Surgeries per Week: 0-2, depending on candidate, surgical not required.
Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days Monday-Friday Clinic, if applicable, Thursday am OR time, first assist.
Schedule of Days/Times Needed To Work/ Shift Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday- Friday, Admin day is Wednesday + Friday pm
On call? No
Procedures Provider Will Be REQUIRED To Perform: n/a
Procedures Preferred: If any surgical background candidate could first assist in the OR.
Patient Load: Upwards of 40 patients per week.
Will You Accept Experience Over Fellowship? Yes
Board Status Requirement (BC/BE) Board eligible.
Certifications Required? BLS, ACLS, PALS?? Yes, for a PA, NCCPA Certification and for an NP, American Academy for Nurse Practitioner Certification, FNP.
Is There Additional Surgical Staff? Yes
Is there additional support staff? Yes
Is the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? Solo with Surgical Oncology back-up.
Are there mid levels? If yes, is the locums provider responsible for mid levels? No
