Job description START DATE: ASAP (flexible based on credentialing)

ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Ongoing / Open-ended

SCHEDULE:
  • Full-time hours required
  • Specific shift times to be confirmed with the client

WORKSITE SETTING: Urgent Care Clinic

SCOPE OF WORK:
  • Evaluate and treat urgent care and occupational health patients
  • Assess patients and determine if escalation of care is needed (ER referral or specialty referral)
  • Manage minor illnesses and injuries

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Urgent care visits (cough, cold, flu, minor injuries)
  • Workers’ Compensation evaluations and follow-ups
  • Simple laceration repair
  • Incision & drainage (I&D)
  • Toenail removals
  • X-ray preliminary reads
  • EKG interpretation

VOLUME | SUPPORT:
  • Approx. 25–35 patients per day, with growth expected
  • Supervising physician available
LICENSURES | CERTIFICATIONS | REQUIREMENTS:
  • Active Texas medical license
  • DEA required
  • BLS certification
  • DOT certification helpful, but not required
  • NP or PA accepted
  • No Travel Reimbursement
