ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Ongoing / Open-ended
SCHEDULE:
WORKSITE SETTING: Urgent Care Clinic
SCOPE OF WORK:
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
VOLUME | SUPPORT:
ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Ongoing / Open-ended
SCHEDULE:
- Full-time hours required
- Specific shift times to be confirmed with the client
WORKSITE SETTING: Urgent Care Clinic
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Evaluate and treat urgent care and occupational health patients
- Assess patients and determine if escalation of care is needed (ER referral or specialty referral)
- Manage minor illnesses and injuries
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Urgent care visits (cough, cold, flu, minor injuries)
- Workers’ Compensation evaluations and follow-ups
- Simple laceration repair
- Incision & drainage (I&D)
- Toenail removals
- X-ray preliminary reads
- EKG interpretation
VOLUME | SUPPORT:
- Approx. 25–35 patients per day, with growth expected
- Supervising physician available
- Active Texas medical license
- DEA required
- BLS certification
- DOT certification helpful, but not required
- NP or PA accepted
- No Travel Reimbursement
