Position: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Hobbs, NM
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide exceptional clinical care to clients and patients while overseeing the daily operations of the Midland Mobile Medical Unit (MMU). This role requires both clinical expertise and operational leadership to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and knowledgeable care to clients and patients.
  • Oversee daily operations of the Midland MMU, including supervision of paramedics and other clinic staff.
  • Perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, IADC, and other regulatory agency requirements.
  • Conduct various occupational health services, including:

o DOT & Non-DOT Physicals

o Drug Testing & Collections

o Hearing & Respiratory Testing

o Functional Capacity Evaluations & Return-to-Work Exams

o Illness/injury care and pre-employment testing

  • Participate in case reviews and recommend updates to policies or procedures as necessary.
  • Ensure clinic cleanliness, promote staff collaboration, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle both clinical and administrative responsibilities efficiently.

Requirements:

Licensing & Experience:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Prefer Occ Med, Family practice or Emergency Med experience.
  • DOT certification preferred.
  • Experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, or Sports Medicine is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage clinic operations effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check, if applicable.

Working Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Professional clinical and office environment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Role involves both direct patient interaction and administrative duties.
