As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive care to patients, diagnose and treat illnesses, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
-Conduct Occipital Nerve Block Injections
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs
- Provide education and counseling to patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Perform procedures such as catheter care, wound care, and specimen collection processing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and pharmacology
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system for accurate diagnosis coding
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
