Job description
SSM Health Neurosciences is seeking a full-time Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collegial, hard-working group of three physicians and one advanced practitioner at SSM Health St. Marys Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis is a two-time winner of the Premier Award for Quality and has earned The Joint Commissions Gold Seal of Approval for Acute Heart Attack Ready Certification. Centrally located in metro St. Louis, we provide exceptional care to all our patients and are a Level III Time Critical Diagnosis STEMI Center. Plus, our chest pain center, certified stroke center, and imaging and outpatient services ensure youre well taken care of in any situation. Our commitment to providing patients personal and compassionate care is always our top priority.
Job Highlights:
- Work closely with the neurologists and primarily provide outpatient focused clinical care including patient follow-up visits. Cover inpatient as needed.
- Help with medication refills, infusions, as well as MyChart and triage of patients.
- Anticipated work schedule of Monday-Friday from 8am-430pm.
- No night/weekend/call requirement.
- Strong department onboarding and mentorship
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Prefer post-education experience in neurology
- Missouri registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure or certified physician assistant
