Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expanding Neurocritical Care (NCC) team. As part of one of the region’s leading health systems, you’ll work alongside a highly trained NCC physician to provide world-class care for critically ill neurological patients. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a collaborative, high-acuity environment and help shape the future of neurocritical care services at Saint Francis.
Job Responsibilities
• Participate in daily rounds and respond to patient care needs and RN calls on 3 Tower.
• Perform procedures including intubations, central line placements, and arterial line placements, with mentorship and supervision provided.
• Assist in expanding procedural skills to include bronchoscopy, PEG placements, tracheostomies, etc., depending on physician capabilities and comfort level.
• Office and clinical responsibilities will be located on the 3 Tower unit.
• Engage in neurology-specific onboarding and training to ensure comfort and confidence in the neuro ICU patient population.
Qualifications
• Critical care or neurology experience strongly preferred.
• Strong procedural skills or willingness to learn under supervision.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to complex neurological patients.
Working Hours
• 1:1 coverage with NCC physician during onboarding and beyond.
• Team-based culture with a strong emphasis on coverage support and flexibility.
• No night call or off-site call responsibilities.
Skills
• Focused exclusively in the ICU; no floor calls or hospital-wide rounding.
• No current responsibility for codes/rapids, though limited future involvement within the Tower may be considered with continued growth.
