Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Spokane, WA (New Graduates are Welcome)

Job Type: Full-Time In-Person (with optional Telemedicine)

Specialty: Neurology/Psychiatry

Setting: Outpatient Clinic

Expected Caseload: 10-20 patients per day

Work Schedule:

In-office: Monday to Friday

Telemedicine: May include after-hours and weekends (optional, if interested)

On-Call: No after-hours call responsibilities currently

Overview:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - to join our high-volume neurology practice. The APP will manage a tailored patient panel aligned with their clinical interests and experience. Conditions may include:

  • Migraines

  • Geriatrics and memory loss

  • Movement disorders (cervical dystonia, tremor, gait disorders)

  • Neuropathy

  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)

  • Vertigo

  • Multiple sclerosis

  • Neuromuscular and general neurological disorders

  • Experience with EMGs, therapeutic toxin injections (e.g., Botox), and infusions is a bonus. Participation in clinical research is desirable.

  • This position offers an autonomous, collaborative work environment with no call expectations and a flexible scope for telemedicine if interested.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments in office and telehealth settings

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans

  • Collaborate with neurologists and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care

  • Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust plans as needed

  • Educate patients and families on conditions, options, and preventive health

  • Document clinical encounters accurately and promptly

  • Participate in clinical research (if interested)

  • Adhere to ethical and professional healthcare standards

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or graduation from an accredited PA program

  • Active PA or ARNP license in Washington State (or ability to obtain)

  • Certification as a Primary Care NP or PA-C

  • Neurology or geriatrics experience preferred

  • BLS required & advanced certifications are a plus

  • Knowledge of DME processes and research practices is beneficial
