Position Overview
Join our collaborative neurocritical care team at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale and Herrin Hospital, where you'll work side-by-side with experienced neurointensivists and fellow APPs to deliver exceptional inpatient neurological care.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Inpatient role, M-F 8a-5p
- No call, nights, or weekends
- Opportunity to contribute to NIH Captiva Research Study
- Strong mentorship from a collegial team of Neurointensivists
- Work closely with Cardiology, ER, ICU
Training:
-
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies (CAHEA-accredited), or
-
Master’s degree in advanced Practice Nursing (CCNEA-accredited)
Licensure & Certifications:

Current Illinois license as PA or APN
-
Current NCCPA (PA) or AACC (APN) certification

Illinois Controlled substance licensure
