We are seeking a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Neurology in Ohio.

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (6p–6a), 7 on/7 off or alternating 4/3 schedule
Start Date: August 4, 2025
End Date: February/March 2026
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults (100%), Stroke and Trauma (40%)
Setting: Hospital-Based, Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center
Responsibilities: Cover 16-bed Neuro ICU and manage neurosurgical consults at night; consult with 2 neuro intensivists (available by phone)
Required Procedures: Neurocritical care, stroke management
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: 3 Advanced Practice Providers in group, lab and imaging onsite
Days Per Month: Based on shift rotation
On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekends included in shift model
Submission Requirements:

Board Certified/Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED

Active Ohio NP license (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED

BLS, ACLS – REQUIRED

ENLS – Highly preferred

Experience managing stroke and trauma patients in a neuro ICU – REQUIRED

Must be able to independently cover a neuro ICU and neurosurgical consults at night – REQUIRED
