Schedule:
- Schedule will be 40 hours per week, with 4 – 10h days for 3 weeks alternating with 5 – 8h days for 1 week.
- There are additional hours of weekend call once every 5th weekend, as-well-as week night call once every 5th week.
- Weekend call is Friday through Sunday and
- week-night call is Monday through Thursday.
- Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
- EMR: Cerner
- Patients Per Shift: 12
- There are two neurosurgeons whom the APC will work with and support for clinic, call and surgical purposes.
- Four department APC's currently.
- Call Ratio: 1:4-5
- Duties include surgical first assist; bedside procedures; rounding independently in all hospital units including NICU, PICU, Peds, ICU (surgical and medical), and general med/surg floor; hospital and ER/UC consults;
- clinic duties including outpatient consultations, post-operative/post-hospital patient care, fracture care, patient phone calls, medication refills, and FMLA documentation
- Neurosurgery APC requirements (MUST HAVE RECENT NEUROSURGERY EXPERIENCE INCLUDING
- SURGICAL CASES):
- Active WI License (Willing to apply one post offer)
