We are seeking an experienced Nephrology Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established, physician-led multispecialty practice in New Windsor, New York. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient care, inpatient consults, and dialysis rounding—ideal for providers seeking clinical variety, autonomy, and a strong work-life balance in a collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform inpatient consults and hospital rounding
• Conduct dialysis rounding and manage acute and chronic dialysis patients
• Order and interpret labs and imaging studies
• Collaborate with nephrologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on kidney disease management
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Qualifications
• National certification (ANCC or AANP)
• DEA license required
• Minimum 2 years of nephrology experience
• Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and dialysis care
• Strong clinical and communication skills
