- Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call - In-house Call
- Coverage model: In-house 6am-6pm; on-call 6pm-6am (24/7)
- Initial coverage block: 8/6-8/19/2026
- Ongoing availability: 10-14 days per month
- Work details
- Setting: Level III NICU (no surgical subspecialties); 21 beds
- Patient volume: ~10 patient encounters per shift
- Common conditions: RDS, pulmonary hypertension, pneumothorax, sepsis, seizures, VLBW, NAS; stabilize surgical cases for transport
- Procedures/therapies: Intubation, chest tubes, central lines, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, exchange transfusion, therapeutic hypothermia; ventilator management including HFOV and iNO
- Diagnostics/EHR: MRI, CT, EEG; Cerner
- EMR System: Cerner
- Call Response Time Required: 15 Min
- Avg Call # Per 24 Hour: Phone Consults: 2 Patients Seen: 10 Admissions: 1
- Requirements: BC/BE, NRP, PALS
