Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide neonatal care in Level II NICUs and normal newborn nurseries
  Full-time NNP role with a mix of 16–24-hour shifts for optimal work–life balance
• Attend deliveries (no transport responsibilities required)
• Deliver care across four hospitals within:
  • St. Vincent’s Health System (2 facilities)
  • HCA Hospitals (2 facilities)
• Be assigned to a specific healthcare system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including:
  • 6 Neonatologists
  • 1 Pediatrician
  • 16 Advanced Practice Providers
• Function with a high level of autonomy, supported by:
  • In-house neonatologist coverage
  • On-call neonatologist backup
• Participate in a team-oriented, collegial environment
• This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

Qualifications:

• APRN National Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) – [REQUIRED]
• Master’s Degree – [REQUIRED]
• Minimum 1 year NNP experience – [REQUIRED]
• Florida APRN License (or willingness to obtain) – [REQUIRED]
• Clean Malpractice/License History – [PREFERRED]
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) – [REQUIRED]
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start) – [REQUIRED]

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current Florida APRN License (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA License
