Practice Setting
- Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- 26 bed unit capacity.
- Inpatient neonatal patient population.
- Average daily census of 10-15 in the newborn nursery.
Schedule
- Only 7-14 shifts per month still available.
- 24 hour shift blocks including weekends.
- Ongoing need starting this summer.
- Block scheduling may be available to maximize your time off.
Procedures and Cases
- Rounding on assigned NICU and nursery patients.
- Proficiency in all critical care skills required.
- Delivery room attendance and some transport duties.
- Managing 7-10 NICU patients per shift.
Requirements
- Active Arkansas license required.
- Minimum 24 months of experience.
- Current PALS and NRP certifications.
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification.
Credentialing Requirements
- 120 day credentialing timeframe.
- Full credentialing support provided.
- No temporary privileges available.
