Millennium Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our growing practice at MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, physician-led team dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a Level III NICU.
Our network of physicians and specialists works together to provide a patient-centered model focused on supporting the health and well-being of newborns and their families. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated provider who is passionate about neonatal medicine and committed to delivering exceptional care during the most critical stages of life.
Opportunity Highlights
This position is based in a 15-bed Level III NICU supporting approximately 90–110 deliveries per month. Providers work within a two-physician care model with in-house NNP coverage, creating a collaborative environment focused on high-quality neonatal care while maintaining strong provider support.
Responsibilities
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive care in the Level III NICU while collaborating closely with neonatologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members. Responsibilities include participating in delivery attendance and neonatal resuscitation when needed, managing neonatal patients in the NICU, and communicating effectively with families regarding care plans, treatment progress, and outcomes. The NNP will play an essential role in delivering evidence-based care while contributing to a supportive, team-oriented clinical environment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be board-certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) and demonstrate strong clinical expertise in neonatal care. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for working with newborns, and a commitment to supporting families during critical stages of care. Experience in evidence-based practice and contributing to a collaborative clinical team is essential.
