Job description
Location: - The Johns Hopkins Hospital - Baltimore, MD 21214
Schedule: - Primarily night shifts; possible mix of days/nights. Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7am–7:30pm or 7pm–7:30am. Weekdays and weekends.
Minimum commitment: 6 shifts per month (please note total availability)
Assignment Details: Role: Neonatal NP in Level IV NICU - Beds: 49 - Daily caseload: 6–14 patients. No call.
Attend all high-risk deliveries - Required procedures: lumbar puncture, direct laryngoscopy intubation, chest tube placement/removal, needle decompression, needle thoracentesis, umbilical arterial/venous catheterization, suprapubic bladder tap, radial arterial cannulation.
Contract: - 6-month assignment with likely extension - Start ASAP (temp privileges available) - Travel covered: flight, lodging, rental car/mileage.
Requirements: Board-certified NP. NNP certification required. Active Maryland NP license in hand. NRP certification - Minimum 4 years APP experience in Level III/IV NICU - Active/unrestricted DEA - Current BLS Let me know if you'd like to move forward or need additional details.
