Job Opportunity: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Oklahoma City, OK
Join a dedicated neonatal care team across four Level II NICUs in the vibrant Oklahoma City Metro Area. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide impactful care for newborns and their families, all while maintaining a balanced work-life schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Neonatologists to deliver exceptional care across four facilities.
- Provide comprehensive neonatal and newborn care in:
- Lakeside
- Southwest
- Canadian Valley
- Edmond
- Work 12 shifts per month, enjoying approximately 18 days off every month.
- Manage a combination of 12-hour and 24-hour shifts (in-house and on-call).
- Be on-call from home during off shifts.
- Explore additional shift opportunities covering the newborn nursery at Lakeside for 4-hour shifts.
- This is a permanent, full-time position; local residency is required.
Qualifications:
- Current APRN National Specialty Certification in Neonatology.
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Licensure as an APRN in Oklahoma or willingness to obtain.
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
- DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
- No locums or visa candidates are accepted; new fellows encouraged to apply.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current APRN national specialty certification - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- Master’s Degree (minimum).
- Oklahoma APRN licensure or willingness to obtain.
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start).
