๐ฉบ Role Overview
As a Neonatal NP, you will:

Provide comprehensive inpatient care to neonates in a Level III NICU

Perform neonatal assessments, daily rounds, and ongoing management of critically ill infants

Collaborate closely with Neonatologists and the multidisciplinary care team

Participate in rounds and coordinate care with nursing and ancillary teams
-
Utilize Epic EMR for documentation

Provide family education and counseling on neonatal conditions and care plans
-
Support stabilization and management of high-risk newborns
-
Work a flexible schedule including 24-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour shifts
Note: New graduates (board eligible) are welcome.

โ Required Qualifications

Board Certified Neonatal NP / NNP (or board eligible for new grads)

Graduate of an accredited NNP program

Active Michigan license (or eligible)

BLS and NRP certifications

Ability to work varied 24-, 10-, and 8-hour shifts

EMR experience (Epic preferred)

Clean malpractice and license history
-
NPDB Self-Query report within 30 days at presentation

Must complete credentialing process (3โ4 months)
