- Other details: The facility which is trauma level 1 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and In-house call if needed. There are an average of 10 patients and 16 beds in the department. We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for ongoing shifts, with 12 or 24-hour shifts available. There is no call coverage as full shifts are in-house. We are looking for both temp-to-perm candidates and those who can cover as-needed dates. Preference will be given to candidates licensed in PA, and experience in a Level III NICU is required. The site is open to locum-to-perm candidates, offering flexibility for those interested in a longer-term opportunity.

Job Responsibilities
* Monitor and manage the health of critically ill newborns, including premature infants and those with complex medical conditions.
* Work collaboratively with the neonatal care team to develop and implement care plans.
* Document patient progress and communicate with family members regarding treatment plans and progress.
* Perform procedures as needed and respond to emergencies within the NICU.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a Level III NICU is required.
* Preference for candidates licensed in PA.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong clinical skills and experience in managing neonatal care.
Working Hours
* Ongoing shifts with flexibility for temp-to-perm or as-needed candidates.
* No call coverage as full shifts are in-house.
