Position Details:
Patient Population: Neonatal (NICU Level II–IV)
Setting: Level III–IV NICUs and Level II Special Care Nurseries
Responsibilities:
- NICU patient management and neonatal care
- Delivery attendance shared with Neonatologists
- Evening shift collaboration with Neonatologists
- 24/7 in-house coverage for Level II units
- No transport duties
Required Procedures: Full neonatal resuscitation and NICU-based neonatal care
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: 24 Neonatologists with a growing team of up to 38 NNPs
Days Per Month: Varied based on shift mix
On-Call/Weekends: Included as part of scheduled shifts
Submission Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP only – no FNP/PNP)
- Arizona license (or willing to obtain)
- NPDB self-query (within 30 days)
- DEA (prior to start)
- 2+ years of NNP experience (highly preferred)
