Job description
An established and reputable Neonatal practice in West Texas is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or a newly graduating NNP fellow to join a collaborative, high-quality neonatology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice in a 49-bed Level III NICU within a major regional perinatal center serving the Permian Basin and West Texas.

Job Responsibilities
Active or eligible Texas APRN license
New graduate NNP fellows with appropriate credentials are encouraged to apply
Completion of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program
Provide comprehensive care to critically ill and premature neonates in a Level III NICU
Perform neonatal assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
Manage ventilated infants, central lines, nutrition plans, and medications
Participate in high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, and stabilization
Collaborate closely with Neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and specialists
Communicate effectively with families, providing education and emotional support
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications
Active or eligible Texas APRN license
New graduate NNP fellows with appropriate credentials are encouraged to apply
Completion of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program
NRP certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Strong clinical knowledge in Level III NICU care
