Job description We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia, starting Feb 2, 2026. This role requires availability for nights and weekends, with 12 or 24-hour in-house shifts. Providers must have recent clinical experience and a current Georgia license.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage a range of neonatal conditions, including infections, respiratory failure, newborn brain injuries, birth defects, and pulmonary hypertension
  • Deliver specialized care to neonates in collaboration with pediatric-trained specialists
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress
  • Ensure effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Uphold all clinical standards and protocols

Additional Information
  • GA license required
  • Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) board certification required
  • Must have a minimum of a Masters Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 6 months of recent clinical experience in neonatology required
  • Providers must have been clinically active within the past year
