A regional perinatal center in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage. This is a high-acuity NICU opportunity with in-house coverage, advanced neonatal services, and a strong multidisciplinary care environment.

Designated regional perinatal center
Approximately 3,100 deliveries annually
60-bed Level IIIB NICU
~625 NICU admissions per year
Average daily census of 36
Clinical Services
High-frequency ventilation
Nitric oxide therapy
Full range of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties
Two maternal-fetal medicine specialists
Pediatric surgery available

Active involvement in research projects
Requirements
Board Certified – Required
Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) with recent experience – Required
Virginia license – Required
Minimum of a master’s degree in nursing – Required
Must have been clinically active within the past year – Required
Minimum of 6 months of recent clinical experience within neonatal specialty – Required
