Job description
An established and reputable Neonatal practice in West Texas is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or a newly graduating NNP fellow to join a collaborative, high-quality neonatology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice in a 49-bed Level III NICU within a major regional perinatal center serving the Permian Basin and West Texas.

Job Responsibilities
Perform neonatal assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management
Attend high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation as needed
Perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, lumbar punctures, and ventilator management (based on training and competency)
Collaborate closely with Neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
Communicate effectively with families regarding patient condition, care plans, and outcomes
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Qualifications
Current board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) or eligibility for certification (new graduates)
Active Texas RN and APRN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
BLS and ACLS (or willingness to obtain)
Prior experience in a Level III NICU preferred; new graduate NNP fellows encouraged to apply
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
