Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Locations: Reno, NV & Albuquerque, NM

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) to join our teams in Reno, NV and Albuquerque, NM. These roles offer 24/7 in-house NNP coverage, strong collaboration with Neonatologists, and the opportunity to work in advanced NICU environments with flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily patient care and participate in rounds

• Attend deliveries and provide immediate neonatal care

• Perform a variety of NICU procedures, including:

o Intubation

o Umbilical line placement

o Chest tube/pigtail insertion

o Lumbar puncture

Qualifications

Current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) certification.

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited NNP program.

Active or in-process state APRN license for NV and/or NM.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.

Experience in a Level II or Level III NICU preferred; new grads with strong training will be considered.

Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced NICU environment.

Working Hours

Flexible scheduling with 12-hour or 24-hour shifts, depending on location needs; includes days, nights, weekends, and holiday rotations as part of 24/7 in-house NNP coverage.
