OPEN POSITION:
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- 7 Shifts per Month
- 24-Hour Shifts
- Flexible Options Available
COMPENSATION:
- $125,000 to $150,000+ Starting Salary, based on experience

LOCATION:
Odessa, Texas
COMPANY PROFILE:
This organization is a physician-owned medical practice specializing in the care of expectant mothers and newborns. They were founded in 2017 by a small group of neonatologists serving a single NICU. Since then, they have grown to operate in multiple states with more than 100 board certified neonatologists, OB hospitalists, and pediatric specialists on their team. They combine a national infrastructure with local support, using their breadth and depth of clinical and operational resources to allow providers to focus their time on delivering care.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position is employed by a private group, with the role based in a medical center in Odessa.
The award-winning hospital has a 49-bed Level 3 NICU and serves as the region’s perinatal referral center.
The schedule is coordinated collaboratively among all the providers, with the option to bundle shifts if preferred.
Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- delivery attendance
- day-to-day management of NICU
- participate in multi-disciplinary rounds
- provide collaborative, team-based care of NICU patients
- nutrition management
- lab review
- meeting with families
- newborn nursery coverage
The hospital uses an EHR and clinical assistants are available to assist providers in all situations.
The new NNP will have autonomous work and also collaboration with skilled neonatologist physicians.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Texas NP license
- neonatal nurse practitioner certification (NNP)
- 1+ year advanced practice experience strongly preferred
- hospitalist experience preferred
- new graduates considered on an individual basis
