Job description
Seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide NICU and newborn delivery coverage, including 24-hour in-house shifts or 12-hour daytime delivery/NBN shifts.
Job Responsibilities
Attend high-risk deliveries and manage newborn stabilization.
Round on well-newborns and support NICU team as needed.
Offer downtime coverage for 24-hour NNP in the NICU (2–4 hours).
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow care protocols.
Qualifications
Active Colorado license or compact-eligible.
Clinically active within the last 12 months.
Minimum 6 months neonatal clinical experience.
Current APRN national specialty certification.
Master’s degree required.
Prescreen questionnaire completed; CV in MM/YYYY with no gaps.
Working Hours
12-hour NBN/Delivery shifts (7a–7p).
No weekends required unless assigned.
No call.
Skills
Delivery room resuscitation skills.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making.
Ability to manage high-acuity newborns.
EMR proficiency and communication skills.
