We’re seeking a Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our locum pool and provide 24-hour call coverage in Ontario, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Level II NICU environment within a supportive, well-equipped facility.

πŸ₯ Position Details

  • Role: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
  • Coverage Type: 24-hour call and rounding
  • Schedule: Flexible β€” minimum 4–5 day stints preferred
  • Weekend Coverage: As scheduled
  • On-Call Requirements: Yes
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Credentialing Timeline: ~90 days
  • Travel: Fully covered (airfare, lodging, rental car, mileage reimbursement)

πŸ‘Ά Scope of Practice

  • Manage Level II NICU admissions and rounding
  • Attend high-risk deliveries
  • Perform intubations, UVC line placements, and neonatal stabilization
  • Complete new-born discharges and documentation
  • Provide continuity of neonatal care in collaboration with the medical team
  • Star Date: As soon as credentialed

βœ… Board Certified NNP (NCC required)
βœ… Active Oregon License
βœ… Minimum 1 year of recent Neonatal experience
βœ… Ability to work independently in a Level II NICU
βœ… Current BLS certification
βœ… All immunizations up to date (TB, Flu, COVID, HepB, Tdap, Varicella)
