Join a dynamic Neonatal team providing high-quality care in the NICU and Family Birthing Center. You will work under attending pediatricians to care for newborns, including high-risk deliveries and transports, in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Assess, plan, and evaluate medical care for neonates
• Attend high-risk deliveries, perform resuscitation, and stabilize newborns 🚑
• Conduct transports independently between hospital systems
• Order and interpret labs, x-rays, and medications
• Lead and participate in nursing education and quality improvement initiatives 📚
• Document findings and submit billing in a timely manner 📝
Qualifications
• Successful completion of an accredited NNP program
• Active Michigan license required
• Minimum 2 years NICU experience
• BLS & NRP certification
• Strong clinical knowledge, analytical skills, and interpersonal abilities
