Job description
- A Nurse Practitioner is needed to provide ongoing night coverage in a Level III NICU in Bismarck, ND.
- The role includes caring for critically ill newborns, performing advanced neonatal procedures, and participating in high-risk deliveries, as well as ground and air (fixed wing) transports.
Job Responsibilities
Perform advanced procedures including intubation, central line placement, and peripheral arterial line insertion.
Attend and manage high-risk deliveries.
Conduct ground and air (fixed wing) transports for critically ill infants.
Collaborate with physicians and support staff to deliver high-quality neonatal care.
Document all patient encounters using EPIC EMR.
Qualifications
Active North Dakota License – Required.
DEA and NRP Certification – Required.
Malpractice history must be clean (preferred).
NICU experience with proficiency in neonatal procedures and transports.
Working Hours
Primarily Friday–Monday coverage.
Ongoing assignment with dates available into 2025.
Skills
Proficiency in advanced neonatal procedures.
Ability to manage high-stress and emergent situations.
Skilled in neonatal ground and air transport.
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
