Overview
An established, physician-led network in Southwestern Tennessee is seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNP-BC) to join a growing team supporting a newly expanded 74-bed Level IV NICU and Special Care Nursery within a nationally ranked children’s hospital. This opportunity is ideal for both newly certified NNPs and experienced practitioners looking to practice in a high-acuity, academic environment.

Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with residents, fellows, and the interdisciplinary care team
Rotate between 12- and 24-hour shifts in an academic teaching environment
Conduct patient assessments, develop and manage care plans, prescribe treatments, and participate in discharge planning
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher
Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
Tennessee Prescriptive Authority (or eligibility)
Knowledge of OSHA and FDA regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
(Preferred Qualifications)
3+ years of experience as an RN in a Level III or IV NICU
1+ year of experience as a NNP in a high-acuity NICU setting
Interest in working in an academic teaching hospital
Experience providing full-spectrum neonatal care from admission to discharge
Working Hours
