Exciting Opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Las Vegas, NV

Join a premier neonatal team in the vibrant suburbs of Las Vegas, where you’ll provide advanced care across four Level-III NICUs equipped with cutting-edge technology. Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on care in four Level-III NICUs:
    1. Henderson Hospital (32-bed NICU)
    2. Centennial Hills Hospital (28-bed NICU)
    3. Spring Valley Hospital (28-bed NICU)
    4. Summerlin Hospital (52-bed NICU)
  • Manage care for approximately 1,700 NICU admissions and over 10,000 births annually
  • Provide advanced neonatal interventions, including:
    1. High-frequency ventilation (jet and oscillator)
    2. Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy
    3. Total body cooling for hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE)
  • Participate in the neonatal transport program and coordinate emergency stabilization and care
  • Collaborate with 16 neonatologists and pediatric subspecialists to ensure comprehensive care
  • Rotate through multiple sites and shifts, contributing to 24/7 neonatal care coverage
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement, mentorship, and ongoing professional development
  • Support families through the NICU journey in a compassionate, communicative manner

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (within 5 years of eligibility)
  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Clean malpractice/license history (highly preferred)

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Nevada nursing license (or willingness to obtain)
  • DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
  • CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start)
  • Copy of the most recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active)
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
