Join Our Neonatology Team in Fort Myers, FL!

Pediatrix® Medical Group is excited to welcome both new graduates and experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to our esteemed practice at a state-of-the-art facility.

Located in Fort Myers, Florida, the Golisano Children's Hospital features a 70-bed, Level-III NICU and is a vital part of our health system, which handles approximately 7,000 deliveries per year. Our environment promotes a collaborative, developmentally sensitive, and family-centered approach to care, supported by a robust quality improvement program and ample opportunities for clinical research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attending coverage at our Level-III NICU, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Manage well-baby care and offer back-up coverage from home for Level-I services.
  • Participate in in-house call and maintain 24-hour NNP coverage.
  • Work alongside a dedicated team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs.
  • Engage in lifelong learning and professional growth through various supported initiatives.
  • Potential involvement in clinical research, if desired.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree (minimum) or Doctorate in Nursing - Required
  • NNP - Board Certified - Required (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications are not accepted)
  • Active Florida License (or willingness to obtain) - Required
  • 2+ years of experience as a NNP - Required
  • Visa support (J1 or H1B) - Required
  • DEA registration must be obtained prior to start - Required

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing
  • NNP - Board Certified (must not be FNP or PNP)
  • Active Florida License (or willingness to obtain)
  • DEA registration prior to start
