Join Our Team as a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner in Hollywood, FL!
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at one of South Florida's leading providers of neonatal services. Located in the vibrant city of Hollywood, our state-of-the-art facility features a large-level IV NICU, providing comprehensive care for our youngest patients. Our professional team is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare within a supportive environment that fosters growth and development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced medical care in a large-level IV NICU, with potential responsibilities across multiple facilities.
- Collaborate with a team of expert physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for neonates.
- Rotate through three hospitals all located within a convenient 20-30 minute drive for full-time NNPs.
- Manage 24-hour shifts in Level III units and flexible shifts in the Level IV NICU, including both day and night options.
- Ensure compliance with all necessary certifications and qualifications as a NNP.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing (REQUIRED).
- NNP Board Certified (REQUIRED) - No acceptance of FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications.
- Current active Florida License or willingness to obtain (REQUIRED).
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within the last 30 days) (REQUIRED).
- At least 2 years of employment experience as a NNP (not including RN experience) (REQUIRED).
- DEA certification (must obtain prior to start) (REQUIRED).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Florida Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- DEA registration, to be obtained before starting the position.
